All Cysum e-bikes purchased directly from cysum.com are covered by our limited manufacturer’s warranty against all manufacturing defects for the original owner. Note: Free promotional accessories are excluded from warranty coverage.

Warranty Period & Transferability

Your warranty is automatically registered when the initial purchaser completes an order on our online shop. The warranty belongs to the original purchaser and begins on the date the bike is delivered.

Can the warranty be transferred?

Yes. A second-hand owner (transferee) may enjoy the remaining period of the warranty only if both of the following conditions are met:

  1. The 1-year coverage period has not yet expired (calculated from the date the original owner received the bike).

  2. The new owner can provide the original owner’s full name and the original Cysum order number.

What is Covered?

1. The Frame (5-Year Warranty) Cysum frames are covered against structural failure, damage, and breakage for a period of 5 years.

  • Exclusions: This warranty does not cover corrosion, paint fading, scratches, impact marks, damage from accidents, non-reversible modifications (such as drilling or welding), or chain guard mounts.

2. The Battery (1-Year Warranty) Cysum batteries are covered by a 1-year limited warranty. During this year, a defective battery will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer.

  • Exclusions: This does not cover damage from using an unauthorized charger, broken battery seals, tampering, or using the battery on any equipment other than a Cysum bike. It also excludes damage from abnormal exposure to liquids, accidents, or commercial/stunt use.

3. Parts & Components (1-Year Warranty) Original parts and components are covered by a 1-year limited warranty. Damaged parts deemed defective by Cysum will be replaced free of charge.

  • Exclusions: This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear items such as brake pads, spokes, tires, tubes, chains, chainrings, cassettes, and cranksets. Damage resulting from improper assembly, neglect, or lack of maintenance is also excluded.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To file a claim, please contact our support team at customer@cysum.com. To help us resolve your issue quickly, please include:

  1. Your original order number and proof of purchase.

  2. High-quality photos and/or videos showing the defect or damage.

Please note: Cysum cannot approve a replacement part without visual evidence of the defect.

Shipping Damage: If your bike arrives damaged from shipping, please contact us immediately with photo and video proof. Shipping damage claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.
